Weekend Ritual: Healthy Banana Protein Pancakes

We have a weekend ritual, that we have had since before kids.

Our Banana Protein Pancakes have filled us with SO much joy, and now our kids adore them too. They are quick and easy, filling and can be enjoyed with all the toppings or simple on the way out the door. A perfect postpartum snack, and the perfect first food for bubs. They really are the best.

I am sharing this with you, so that 1. it encourages you to EAT breakfast, because it is essential, and 2. so that you can create your own little weekend ritual, where you slow it down just for a minute and enjoy the joy making and sharing pancakes brings.

HOLD THE MOTHER - BANANA PROTEIN PANCAKES

  • 2 x Banana 

  • 1 cup oats

  • 2 x eggs

  • Handful of dates

  • Tsp cinnamon

  • Blend in a blender 

  • Add Ghee to pan and cook 

  • Top with maple syrup, fresh berries, yogurt or simply grab and eat on the run.
